Wanted to show you the typical illustrations used for ages in books to learn how to read. What I like about it: the topics are simple things in everyday Colombian life: the Mama (Mum), the Pueblo (Village), or even the Torrero.
The quality of the paper is so bad that you can see the illustrations of the other page. But it has its charm.
The middle-aged women of Mario’s family were very happy to tell me this was very important in their childhoods.
