Wanted to show you the typical illustrations used for ages in books to learn how to read. What I like about it: the topics are simple things in everyday Colombian life: the Mama (Mum), the Pueblo (Village), or even the Torrero.
The quality of the paper is so bad that you can see the illustrations of the other page. But it has its charm.
The middle-aged women of Mario’s family were very happy to tell me this was very important in their childhoods.
Rubyshoes in Bogotá

Time has come to put a bit of English spirit in Bogotá. Just hang the bunting from Rubyshoes in my house, on the window of the Virrey Park.
If you want to know more about Rubyshoes, please visit their website, which I was very happy to design last year.

For the first day of the year, I will show you a calendar that I have found beautifully designed. This is an almanac that includes information on what, how and when to plant in Colombia at different time of the year. It has been made by Puslar de la Tierra.
This one is from March 2012 until March 2013.
Like this Colombian movie very much: the Wind Journeys.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013!
